Students had great discussions about perimeter as they worked in groups this week. Students had to create robot parts with stipulations about the perimeter. SURPRISE!!! Mrs. Heidi ordered chickens, instead of eggs. We LOVE the baby chicks! We began learning about the lifecycle of a chicken as we looked for parts of an egg that will help a germinal disc grow into a chicken. It's not every day that you get to see a hot air balloon landing!

Students were able to inform their audience about clouds! Thank you to the parents who made our party possible and a success! On a snowy Friday, students gathered in the Sky Room. A member from the Rotary Club was there and he presented each third-grade student with a dictionary!
Our class was part of the red team during Literacy Week. We rose to the top by reading the most minutes!
This week was full of snowy recess! Science and dance merged as students created a stratus cloud dance. |
